We held our first Annual Meeting under the leadership of Rodney Hammer. This years annual meeting was a little different than what we have had in the past.
We had it on a Sunday afternoon at First Southern Baptist Church, Buckeye where they did a wonderful job hosting 110 in attendance. We had food, where those who attended were asked to bring a side dish or desert and Estrella Association provided Fried Chicken and Potato Salad.
You could visit with the 10 Mission Fair Tables and learn about the partnerships available from Joni & Friends, New Life Counseling, Arizona Baptist Children Services, Disaster Relief, Arizona Mission Network, NAMB, EBA Church Planting Team, EBA Church Revitalization Team, EBA Community Outreach and EBA Pastor Encouragement. We also had a table with FREE resources available.
Outside we had bouncy houses set up for the children and youth.
During the Business Meeting, Estrella Association gave a plaque of Appreciation to Pastor Jim Haggard, the oldest active Pastor in Arizona and FSBC, Buckeye for 100yr Anniversary. Executive Team approved all proposals by the Admin. Team.
Everyone then moved to the Worship Center where we were entertained by Praise Bands from FSBC, Buckeye, Laveen Baptist Church and a bilingual Praise Band from Yuma. Our Inspiration Speaker was Brandon Leake and many enjoyed his sweet spirit and testimony.
